Before Your Appointment: Signing Up

Becoming a Meadow member is done online at meadowprimarycare.com/pricing. The process takes about five minutes. You'll choose your membership type, enter your information, and select your preferred location (Ellenton/Parrish or Lakewood Ranch). Once your membership is confirmed, you can contact us to schedule your first appointment.

There's no lengthy new patient packet to complete before you arrive — we handle the intake conversation during your visit, which is one of the reasons your appointment takes 30+ minutes rather than 7.

Arrival: What to Expect

When you arrive at Meadow, you'll check in with our front desk. You'll complete a brief intake form if you haven't already, covering current medications, health history highlights, and the primary reason for your visit.

Wait times at Meadow are minimal — because we maintain a smaller patient panel and schedule deliberately, you're typically seen within a few minutes of your appointment time. You won't sit in a waiting room for 45 minutes.

The Appointment Itself

Your first appointment with Meriem is a real conversation, not a checklist. She will:

• Review your health history — past diagnoses, surgeries, hospitalizations, family history
• Review your current medications and supplements
• Discuss your primary reason for the visit (whether that's an acute issue, a chronic condition, a wellness check, or just establishing care)
• Conduct a physical assessment appropriate to your reason for coming
• Discuss your health goals — not just your problems
• Order any labs or follow-up if indicated

First appointments are 30–60 minutes. Meriem takes her time. She asks follow-up questions. She listens. If you've spent years feeling rushed in seven-minute appointments, this will feel noticeably different.

After Your Appointment: Direct Access

After your first visit, you have Meriem's direct line. Future questions don't require an appointment — you text. Lab results are reviewed and communicated to you directly. Follow-up visits are scheduled as needed, with same-day availability when something comes up acutely.
