Your coverage, your choice

Three ways to get care here

However you're covered, you get a provider who has time.

On Medicare

We bill Medicare directly, like any practice — standard rules apply (copays after deductible). You're seen by Meriem, with real time per visit.

Have PPO insurance

Pay our straightforward visit rate; we provide a superbill so you can claim out-of-network reimbursement from your plan.

Prefer to skip it

Choose our DPC membership for unlimited visits, $0 copays, and direct text access to your provider.

★★★★★

A perfect rating from real patients across Manatee County.

Typical primary care offices average 3.5–4.2.

On Medicare?

Here's exactly how it works

We're accepting new Medicare patients into a limited panel. We bill Medicare directly the way any primary care practice would — standard Medicare rules apply, including copays once your deductible is met. Medicare patients aren't part of our DPC membership, but you're seen by Meriem, in the same practice, with the same focus on unhurried care.

You keep using your Medicare benefits — you just finally get a provider with time for you.

Let's figure it out
together.

Medicare, PPO, or thinking about membership? Call or text and we'll walk you through your best option — no pressure.

Questions

Good questions, real answers

Does Meadow Primary Care accept Medicare in Manatee County?

+

Yes. We're currently accepting new Medicare patients into a limited panel. We bill Medicare directly the way any primary care practice would — standard Medicare rules apply, including copays once your deductible is met. Medicare patients are not part of our DPC membership, but you're seen by Meriem, in the same practice, with the same focus on unhurried care.

What if I have PPO or private insurance?

+

If your PPO plan includes out-of-network benefits, you may be eligible for reimbursement on your visits. You have two options: join our DPC membership ($59–$119/mo) or use our cash-pay pricing ($125 initial / $75 follow-up). Either way, we provide a superbill after each visit. We partner with Reimbursify to file your claim for free. Please note that reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your specific plan benefits.

What about labs and medications?

+

We do not bill insurance for non-Medicare patients. Instead, we help you access labs and imaging at deeply discounted cash-pay rates through our negotiated partnerships. For medications, we help find the lowest cost options. Many patients find our discounted rates are comparable to or better than their insurance copays.

What is the difference between Meadow and a traditional primary care office?

+

Traditional primary care providers manage panels of 2,500+ patients, resulting in 3-week waits and 7-minute visits. At Meadow, we keep our panel small across the board, which means shorter wait times and longer visits for every patient. Our DPC members get the most — 30–60 minute visits, direct text access, same-day appointments, and discounted labs and imaging. Medicare and PPO patients get a better experience than a typical practice, but the DPC membership benefits are reserved for members.

Do I need a referral to join Meadow Primary Care?

+

No referral is needed. Simply call or text us at (941) 340-1649 and we will verify your Medicare coverage and get you set up. We serve patients across Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch, Ellenton, Parrish, and all of Manatee County.

What services are covered under Medicare at Meadow?

+

Standard primary care services billed through Medicare — wellness exams, chronic disease management, EKGs, injections, minor procedures, and telehealth within Florida. Labs and imaging are billed through Medicare as well (not at our DPC cash-pay rates). Your coverage follows your Medicare plan, including any copays or deductible that applies.

As a Medicare patient, do I get direct text access to my provider?

+

Direct text access to the provider is a benefit of our DPC membership. Medicare patients reach us through our patient portal and phone line during office hours — which is still far more responsive than most traditional practices. If you want the full text-access experience, you'd need to join our DPC membership (though Medicare patients cannot combine Medicare billing with DPC membership).

Can a Medicare patient join the DPC membership instead?

+

Medicare patients are one lane — you're either seen through Medicare billing or as a DPC member, not both. If you prefer the full DPC experience (unlimited visits, direct text access, 30–60 minute appointments, discounted labs) you can choose the DPC path, but you'd be paying out of pocket for primary care rather than using your Medicare benefits. Most Medicare patients choose the Medicare path. Call us to talk through what makes sense for you.
