Explained simply

Healthcare without the middleman

Traditional primary care runs on insurance, so offices cram in 25+ patients a day and visits get squeezed to 7 minutes. Direct Primary Care takes insurance out of everyday care: you pay your provider a flat monthly fee, the panel stays small, and you get real time, real access, and real relationships — the way medicine used to work.

Two common questions

How DPC fits with coverage

Do I still need insurance?

DPC covers your primary care, but it isn't insurance. Most members pair it with a catastrophic or high-deductible plan for hospitals, ER, and specialists — often at a lower combined cost than a traditional plan alone.

What about Medicare?

Medicare patients follow a separate path — we bill Medicare directly like any primary care practice, with standard Medicare rules (copays after your deductible). You're seen by Meriem in the same practice, just not through the DPC membership.

Questions

Good questions, real answers

What is Direct Primary Care?

+

Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a membership model for primary care. You pay a flat monthly fee directly to your provider for unlimited visits — same-day appointments, 30–60 minute visits, and direct text access — with no copays and no insurance billing on routine care.

How is DPC different from a regular doctor's office?

+

Traditional offices bill insurance and pack in 7-minute visits to stay afloat. DPC removes insurance from everyday care, so your provider keeps a much smaller patient panel and can give you real time, same-day access, and a direct line to reach them.

How much does Direct Primary Care cost?

+

At Meadow, membership is $59/mo for kids (ages 2–25), $119/mo for adults (26+), and $289/mo for a family of four — with no copays, no contracts, and the ability to cancel anytime.

Do I still need insurance with DPC?

+

DPC covers your primary care, but it isn't insurance. Most members pair it with a catastrophic or high-deductible plan for hospital, ER, and specialist coverage — often at a lower combined cost than a traditional plan alone.

Does DPC work with Medicare?

+

Medicare patients follow a separate path — we bill Medicare directly like any primary care practice, with standard Medicare rules applying (copays after your deductible). Medicare patients aren't part of the DPC membership, but are seen by Meriem in the same practice.
