What's Included in an Annual Physical at Meadow
- Full health history review, including family history, lifestyle, sleep, stress, and anything new since your last visit
- Head-to-toe physical exam with vitals, heart, lungs, skin, and a focused look at any concerns you bring
- Medication and supplement review so everything you take still makes sense together
- Preventive screening plan based on your age and risk, including cancer screenings, bone health, and vaccines
- Labs ordered as needed, drawn at our discounted cash rates, with results reviewed with you, not just posted to a portal
- EKG when indicated, done in office
- A written plan for the year ahead, with clear next steps and referrals if you need them
What Insurance Covers vs. What a Real Wellness Exam Covers
Most insurance plans cover one preventive visit a year. The catch is how narrowly that visit is defined. Bring up a new symptom or an ongoing issue during your "free" physical and many practices bill it as a separate problem visit, which means a copay or a charge toward your deductible.
Medicare works differently. It does not cover a routine physical at all. It covers an Annual Wellness Visit, which is a prevention planning conversation and risk review, not a full hands-on exam.
At Meadow, members don't have to think about any of this. Your physical covers whatever you need to talk about, and if something comes up, we deal with it in the same visit.

Cash-pay

Medicare
Annual Wellness Visit billed directly to Medicare. Scheduled as available.
